As a lifelong member of the Durham Region, I've always loved the vibrant events that bring our communities together – but too often, I found out about them after they had already passed.
That's why I decided to create a centralized hub where residents can find out what's happening locally, without digging through social media or bulletin boards.
Local Motive was born from a simple idea: make it easy for people to discover and connect with the amazing events happening right in their own backyard.
